Festive wishes
Dear Members of the EHS,
We are very happy to have held face to face hip meetings during 2021, from our own EHS 14th Congress in Lille in September to our EHS-organised Congress in Kharkiv in October and Dr Cruz’s meeting in Madrid in November with EHS patronage (see the report HERE). We now head into the winter period and continue with the great digital EHS-organised masterclass in arthroplasty surgery, the MAST 8 Congress in Thessaloniki 17-19th December. Register HERE.
We would like to warmly introduce three new EHS Nat Reps for the following countries:-
- Bulgaria: Prof Plamen Kinov
- Norway: Prof Tina S Wik
- Ukraine: Prof Volodymyr Filipenko
Of course we say a big thank you to those who previously held the posts. We are also very happy to introduce three new EHS Full Members: Dr Hussein Abdelaziz (Germany); Dr Stefano Biggi (Italy) and Prof Marius Keel (Switzerland), and our first International Member from Cambodia, Dr Rith Yin. And in the New Year we will be announcing the new members of the EHS Education and Scientific committees – thanks to all who applied.
We are still inviting research articles or comprehensive reviews for the special issue of “Medicina” on Total Hip Arthroplasty — Current Challenges (see below). And please wear your thinking caps over the holidays, as our EHS President, Prof Klaus Siebenrock, will be asking us all to brainstorm topic ideas for the symposia at our 15th EHS Congress in Bern October 12-13th 2023.
Wishing all our members from all over the world a safe, happy and healthy festive period.
Best regards,
Stanislav Bondarenko MD, DMSc
EHS Secretary General
