Dear EHS Members,

Registration is open to our 15th Congress in Bern. Get a first glimpse of our fantastic programme, covering: hip joint preservation surgery, the young patient with a hip prosthesis, customized 3D hip prosthesis in hip revisions, revision surgery in THA and hip resgistries. See you there!

We were very sad at the passing of our inspirational EHS Past President, Dr Roberto Giacometti-Ceroni, who organised the 5th EHS Congress 2002 in Baveno, Italy. Our commiserations go to his family, friends and colleagues. Prof Luigi Zagra remembers him fondly HERE.

A warm welcome goes to our new EHS Members: Dr Andrea D’Amelio from Torino, Italy; Prof Koji Goto from Osakasayama, Japan and Assoc Prof Pablo Sanz Ruiz from Madrid, Spain.

The EHS Organised Bern Hip Symposium was a huge success with over 270 attendants and 34 renowned international hip experts sharing their knowledge. A report will follow. Don’t miss our:-
