New Faces for the New Year
Dear Members of the EHS,
MAST 8 (Masterclass in Arthroplasty Surgery Thessaloniki) was a great success. The EHS-organised conference was enjoyed by 385 delegates who saw 88 international presentations of data and videos from international teams over three days, culminating in the Larry Dorr Award being presented to Prof Daniel Berry and EHS Member Prof Matthew Abdel of Mayo Clinic, Minnesota. Read the report HERE.
We would like to introduce the new faces on our committees and to thank all who applied. A warm welcome our new EHS EduCom members:-

President Prof Klaus Siebenrock, asks us all to brainstorm topic ideas over the holidays for the symposia at our 15th EHS Congress in Bern (October 12-13th 2023), ready for when the SciCom plan the scientific programme in early 2022. Please email ideas to your Nat Rep (or if you are outside Europe, to our membership secretary: samstokesehs@gmail.com). Our 14th EHS Congress in Lille this year saw 92% satisfaction for scientific content – proof of the excellent work accomplished by our committees – so we must rise to the challenge to keep the standard super high!
Finally, we may find some time for reading over the holidays, and Prof Alister Hart (UK) of the EduCom has published a book very relevant to EHS members: “The Hip Detective, Solving puzzles: transforming lives” (complexhipsurgery.com).
Wishing all our members from all over the world a happy New Year 2022.
Best regards,
Stanislav Bondarenko MD, DMSc
EHS Secretary General
