In accordance with the EHS’s mission to provide the best scientific knowledge to orthopaedic surgeons throughout Europe, the EHS is cooperating in more and more national orthopaedic meetings and courses.
On 24th January 2020, EHS cooperated with the Spanish Hip Society (SECCA) for a specialist meeting in Madrid.
The theme was to penetrate deeply in to three specific topics:-
- Various bearings
- Complex THAs
- Methods for dealing with major bone defects in Acetabular revision
The meeting was a success with many intense and dedicated discussions. The hospitality was also great.
These kind of short meetings, attended by dedicated specialists, penetrating deep in to some single subjects, is a most needed link for hip surgeons and a concept that should be repeated in the future.
