Dear EHS Members,

It is December already, and we are fully focused on 17th EHS Congress London 2027 (7-8th October). With our Chair and Vice of the EHS SciCom, Prof Zagra and Prof Manktelow and the EHS Scientific Committee and Emerging leaders, we are starting to construct a relevant and an exciting programme to build on the success of recent meetings and to enhance our reputation and impact. This is a collaborative event, and we rely on our members’ input, so please contact me with your suggestions and ideas. We will also hold a strategy meeting to bring key EHS leaders together in the New Year.

Our Secretary General, Prof Stanislav Bondarenko, presents his report of our recent 16th EHS Congress in Thessaloniki HERE, with his personal highlights and plenty of photos to remember what a great event it was. You have all now received the Minutes from the GA.

Sadly, we also post HERE a fond remembrance of the late 1st EHS President, Prof Emmanuel Dretakis, and send condolences to his family. He was awarded a timely Lifetime Achievement Award at our congress. Allied with the recent loss of Reg Elson, it is a timely reminder of the phenomenal work the EHS founders did, and the strong foundations that they laid for us.
